Please be aware of the confirmed case of Alabama Rot from a dog that unfortunately died a month ago. As you all know I do walk the dogs here. I’ve extensively read and studied this appalling disease, and there is evidence that it’s extremely rare. I do my best to rub down (as long as I have clean towels provided) and have just ordered a mud daddy to wash off the mud before entering the van, but I do need all my clients to daily check lower legs and paws for sore spots/lesions and any signs of unusual lethargy, loss of appetite etc….please take straight to the vet. Also do please read the veterinary advice on this disease. Please share. Thank you.
